Twig mirror
The mirror should look good from every angle, not just from the reflecting side. Therefore, the aspect of the aesthetic mirror as a whole was the guiding idea for me in this project. It was trees that inspired the creation of the Twig mirror. The sturdy construction of branches and their natural bulges and organic form served as a prologue to seamlessly connect elements and create a structure from solid walnut wood. Noble and subtle details were crafted from brass. The rod connecting the crossbars is designed to stabilize the structure, and hooks mounted on the back of the mirror allow it to be easily hung. The rounded shapes of the wooden structure evoke craftsmanship and manual work. Nature is not worth taming. It is the essence of the universe, and thanks to thoughtful and natural designs, we can be reminded of it every day.
