Pause

The PAUSE furniture is used for rest, contemplation, and distraction from everyday matters. They create a space, that is dedicated to a single person, giving the opportunity to relax, take a pause, and focus on yourself. The furniture can be used both indoor and outdoor. The design consists of a seat and table that are visually light in form but strong in character. Their appearance is classic and the design is very simplified. The shape is rounded, but the boundaries of the furniture are defined by sharper edges. The overall shape of the cork parts was inspired by the Mx-30’s wheel arch. Reducing the height of the furniture in the PAUSE project helps to bring the user back into contact with the earth, which has a huge impact on both the mental and physical health condition.
